About me

More than twenty years in finance. Now focused on what matters.

More than twenty years of practice, and a focus that has narrowed over time toward the planning that compounds for families.

Wendy Liew刘文爱Assistant Vice President, Financial Services · Manulife Financial Advisers Pte. Ltd.

I've spent more than two decades in Singapore's banking sector, leading wealth management teams and managing portfolios for high-net-worth clients across DBS, OCBC, ANZ, and Standard Chartered.

In late 2021, I stepped away from corporate banking to do what I'd always loved most about the work: sitting across from a family, listening to what they actually need, and building a plan that protects them.

Today I focus on three things I've spent my career studying: insurance, trusts, and will planning. The work is quieter than running a branch, but for my clients, it matters more.

How I work

Plans should fit your life, not the other way around. I start every engagement with a fact-find conversation, not a product pitch.

If a recommendation isn't clearly better than what you already have, I'll tell you. My view is that the best advisor is the one you don't have to second-guess.

Multilingual practice matters in Singapore. I work comfortably in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Hakka, which means parents and grandparents can be part of the same conversation.
